Notes on decisions that are hard to undo

Practical writing on structure, verification and timing — for people who are about to sign something significant.

A structured decision review is a written, independent analysis of one pending decision: four assessment dimensions, two or three scenario paths, and a list of what has to be evidenced before you commit. These articles are the material underneath that work — how decisions fail, what to verify, and which questions belong to your lawyer rather than to us. Two or three are published a week; a review is delivered as a written memo over WhatsApp in 48 hours, with one follow-up exchange answered within 72 hours.

Nothing here predicts an outcome. Each article sets out what to check, and where a review sits versus a legal memo, a consultancy engagement or a reading — and questions sent to us are answered within 24 hours.

Questions about this writing (FAQ)

What do you write about?

The structural side of high-stakes decisions: what to verify before signing, who can block a decision, how to sequence capital, and how to exit — for cross-border investment, residency planning, partnerships and disposals.

What should I read first?

Start with "The 30 days before you sign: five structural checks" for a practical checklist, then "What a structured decision review costs" for scope and pricing.

How often is new writing published?

Two or three articles a week, each about one decision type and short enough to read in one sitting. The search page matches the full text of every article in your browser, and each piece is filed under a topic and a month.

Can I quote or cite this writing?

Yes — quote it with a link back to the article. If you need the reasoning applied to a decision you are holding, that is what a review is: a written memo over WhatsApp in 48 hours with one follow-up exchange within 72 hours of delivery.
